Rado has re-introduced a chronograph to its modern family of Captain Cook explorer watches.
The Captain Cook Chronograph collection, launching today, comes in three versions: two in steel and one in solid bronze.
They join the popular ceramic case and bracelet three-hander models in the sports watch collection.
Rado is aiming to give each watch in the chronograph collection several looks thanks to a range of “EasyClip” interchangeable straps and bracelets.
The bronze piece has two different NATO straps and a leather option.
Steel models come with the choice of a steel bracelet or two straps: NATO or leather in the black or blue colours of their dials.
All three styles are powered by the R801 automatic movement with Nivachron anti-magnetic hairspring and 59 hour power reserve.
This movement allows Rado to make the watch a little slimmer at 43mm diameter and 14.8mm tall.
Prices range from £3,440 for steel on NATO or leather strap up to £4,090 for the bronze model.
